During his training, he completed a 2-year Medical Residency in General Surgery at the Hospital das Clínicas of USP, and was approved first in the competition for specialization in Plastic Surgery at the same hospital.

He worked as a Medical Preceptor, being a tutor and one of those responsible for organizing the Medical Residency program in Plastic Surgery at the Hospital das Clínicas at USP.

His interest in complex cases, as well as the search for details, led him to dedicate himself to Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, especially aimed at cancer patients and those who suffered serious accidents. This learning was fundamental for the definitive choice of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, an area in which in-depth anatomical and surgical knowledge is necessary, in addition to concern with details and shapes.

Certain of his vocation and the need for improvement, he sought out the best plastic surgery training centers, such as Meeth (Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital), in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
